???? - 1776
MP for Liverpool 1756-1761, West India merchant and according to the History of Parliament Commissioner of the Africa Co. for Liverpool 1759, for London 1767-8. He was probably the vendor of Mount Charles, sold to Augustin Gwyn (q.v.) in 1768: although the Essex County Archives shows the vendor as Charles Cole [sic] of London, Princeton University Library and other sources give the vendor as Charles Pole.
