Biography

Early purchaser of land on St Vincent. He appeared in the St Eustatius censuses of 1764 and 1766, but has not otherwise been further traced.

  1. 'Jeremiah Penniston purchased 197 cleared acres in Boucamont, formerly occupied by one La Chauss茅e, at a price of 拢59 10 shillings per acre. Along with six uncleared acres at a price of 拢11 18 shillings per acre, Penniston paid a total of 拢11,792 sterling for his acquisitions in St. Vincent. BNA CO 106/9 N. 33.'
