Research interests
- Development of health interventions to reduce health inequalities
- Promotion of health and well-being through prevention and early intervention
- Understanding the application of variant forms of health epistemology and their effect upon health behaviour
- Critical health psychology and applied social psychology
Current Research
I have a PhD Studentship with the Department of Health (DoH) Policy Research Unit: Cancer Awareness, Screening and Early Diagnosis.
This research will investigate, develop and implement health interventions to reduce health inequalities in cervical cancer and to
tackle barriers to participation in cervical screening.
